Something new

I am trying to come up with something new. Something new to write.

No, don't assume I have nothing to write; currently in the works are Mirror Earth 6, SkyGhost 2, Naked Crow 13, Superheroes 3 and a vampire story, and I'm editing a naturist fiction story that's 'real life' (so no fantasy, no scifi, no steampunk, etc.)

Fans of series are always looking forward to the next book in their preferred serie(s), I know that. I have some of such series as well.

Writing those sequels is fun, no doubt about that, but at some point my brain also needs something entirely different to focus on. A different genre, perhaps one that doesn't even exist yet in a naturist form (see SkyGhost, which - as far as I know - is still the only naturist steampunk story out there).

I'm not sure if such an undiscovered genre exists. In the past few thousand years, people wrote a lot of things in a lot of genres and styles. Perhaps all the genres have already been found out.

But... never say never!

For instance, my non-naturist writing side wrote 27 books about a witch and a wizard. Maybe that is an opening. A naturist/nude magical couple. (Note, I've been pondering this for a while already, but I haven't found a good plan around them.)

(Yes, you read that correctly. Twenty-seven books. Check them out if you are interested in a wicked witch with a big mouth. The first 6 are free on most platforms, although Amazon often forgets that, not my doing.)

Let's see how things roll on, writing-wise. I first have to handle a form of Foster Parents Plan (there's a hint of things to come in here), and a few more bits and pieces in the various stories mentioned up there. ☝
