On the joy of being naked
Nudity is permitted beyond this point.

Why more?

Philosopher
Lately I've been diving into philosophy. That's not because I have nothing to do otherwise, but it's something that has been intriguing me since long, and I've finally found a podcast from a Belgian lady who details it all in understandable language that resounds with me. It's called 'practical philosophy'. I like practical things.

One of the podcasts I appreciate very much is: Stop fussing about your purpose.

This spoke to me as I don't really do that either, and somehow that made me think about the 'drive' that many nudists and naturists have to gather 'more of us'. Of course, more people in this naked community is nice, but we shouldn't make that a priority. A purpose.

Paul Nude Outside, UK somewhere
As I've said before, in another post somewhere, converting people to naturism won't work. It's not a religion.

Telling people about it is good. If they feel they want to try it, that's good. If they don't, that's good. Isn't that good?

I can see that some people won't agree with that, and even that's fine. I'm focusing on my own ideas. I'm simply going to enjoy myself. Maybe that is my purpose. Our purpose. Decide for yourself.

Everyone has their own life, their own path, their own 'burden' to carry around. Their own purpose. I'm happy for them for that, as long as they deal with things on themselves. Oh, I'll try to help if they ask me and I think I can do something. If I can't help, or if they don't ask, I'll let them be.

Their thing is their thing and I'm not going to make it mine. Unless it's a fun thing I like. Then I can copy it, enjoy it, make it part of my 'purpose'.

And if you wonder why you're on Earth and you haven't figured it out yet... good luck! My reason is to be happy.
