Why is nude so different
I've been thinking about that. We do things that other people do. The difference is that we do as much as possible without clothes.
And that's different. But why is that so different? It's certainly not the fact that we do the things we do. Simple things like vacuuming don't require a specific skill, it just requires one to get up and do it.

I'm convinced this has to do with the freedom I (and many others) have talked about, written about, posted about etc. We've all also tried to explain it and we're all gloriously failing at that.
Maybe it's more a mental thing than a physical thing. Or perhaps a combination of the two. Being nude is physical freedom. We know it. No wrappings, nothing pulls, nothing's tight. But I suddenly realise that it's also a mental freedom. I've called clothes a 'fabric prison' before and that's exactly what they are. They keep our real self imprisoned.
Yes, of course, it's not the kind of prison you can't walk out of, like the famous one on Alcatraz, but it isΒ a prison we can't walk away from. Outside our homes we even have have to carry that prison with us. Isn't that the ultimate captivity?
