On the joy of being naked
Nudity is permitted beyond this point.

Why is it so difficult?

We probably all know it's hard to talk people into trying naturism. Why is it so hard to make people take that step, if only once?

Child eating an orange.
I think it has to do with this.

How would you explain the taste of an orange to someone who has never seen or heard of an orange? Or who has never even heard of the colour orange? Or for whom that colour actually signifies some kind of danger?

Sounds like a challenge, at least.

Naturism a danger? Orange a danger?

Yes. To the naturism, at least. I couldn't come up with a dangerous orange, except perhaps for an orange, bomb-carrying drone coming at me. But the naturism idea could feel like danger.

Imagine hearing about someone who was molested while nude in some shower room. Naturism is nude too, and the human mind is very good at connecting unrelated things, so nude naturists might very easily molest you when you're naked in a shower room.

It's sad, but that's how minds can work. Not all of them. It depends on where someone comes from. Someone who never heard of such an attack, won't make that mental jump. There will be some other connection, probably.
