30C. That is 86F
The weather has been very warm. VERY warm even. We had a dip in the heat and now it's warm again. (Don't be mistaken, the image shows centigrade. 30C is 86F. FYI, converted for your convenience.)

The perfect way to work in this heat is without any heat-traps. We also know them as 'clothes'. Without clothes I don't need air conditioning, so I don't waste a lot of electricity that turns money into a lot more hot air via the intervention of a lot of electricity. Without clothes I work and move much better. And the best thing: no one on the phone gives a damn whether I'm clothed or not. They don't even consider or think of it, as long as their problem gets handled. And it doesn't matter. I'm not being paid to wear clothes. I'm getting paid to fix problems.

For video things like teams calls and google meet there's the video shirt, always at hand, just in case. More and more, though, I tend to go into a

video meeting with the camera off. If people comment, I'll take my time to 'shirt up' and then switch the camera on.

I really still can't wrap my head around the simplicity of this and how hard it is for clothies to understand this, and I've been trying that wrapping for years by now.

Working From Home. Naked. It's the way to do it as long as you're not cold and no one in the room with you has a problem with it. In the latter case you can even ask them to leave the room. 😉
