On the joy of being naked
Nudity is permitted beyond this point.

Vacation time

I was at the local wellness/sauna again, a week ago on Monday.

Lots of people there. Shockingly many, even. I usually pick a Monday if I can because those are the quiet days. Not so that Monday. Because it was vacation time, no doubt.

Toweled up people in a sauna
It didn't surprise me to see loads of people wrapped up in towels and bathrobes. Not only nudists have vacation time, after all. But people, really, keeping all that stuff on inside the saunas? There are swimwear days if you don't want to get naked.

That made me feel somewhat uncomfortable. Not the idea that the towels or robes were dirty, but the indirect sweat and such that can spread through those things, especially if someone marches around like that all day.

I decided to cut the visit short that day. After all, these people didn't do anything wrong, it was just my visualisation of their behaviour, and how that felt wrong to me.

There will be another day, with fewer people and many fewer towels and robes, and things will be fine again.
