The old site is gone.

Over the last few weeks I got more and more emails from a safety plugin which I had installed on the original 'zjuzdme.org' site. Someone, or more likely something like an a.i. tool, was trying to hack into that Wordpress installation.

After a while I discovered a pattern in the attempted user names that the wannabe invader used: they were all names of people who had, at one time or another, commented on posts on that original site.

To give you an idea: here's a screenshot of mails I got in less than half an hour:

On Sunday morning I woke up to 249 of such mails. It is, of course, very easy to select all and delete them, but this annoyed me majorly, because it was getting worse literaly every few minutes.

I had kept that site around for history's sake, but this was getting out of hand. So I removed the link from this new site to the other one (it was in the top menu) and then I deleted the core wordpress files. I also emptied the database, just in case something was leaking through that way. (I'm glad I know how this stuff is set up and connected.)

Half an hour later the mails stopped, for obvious reasons. It's a bit sad, because this action erased a lot of naturist history. I could have looked for a way to somehow preserve it, but that wouldn't be the same.

I'm glad I switched to this new setup. This can't be hacked through an online portal.
