Interesting topic, especially in relation to naturism/nudism.

Do you think the two are linked? Or the three?

I don't.

Recently I read from someone on bloopsky that naturists are (more) spiritual than nudists. This is fine, of course, because there are 100 opinions on how naturism and nudism differ if you ask 100 people.

For me, spirituality has no connection to naturism. Spirituality is a mental concept, where naturism and nudism are both mental and physical.

Both N-s focus on a nude presence wherever possible. Do naturists prefer the outside more than nudists? Unlikely. But again, this is my opinion.

That is the same as asking if spirituality functions better outside or inside. I don't think that the location has not much to do with it, although large groups prefer to huddle together in churches and mosques. For me it's clear that things can enhance each other, though.

My take on this is:

A nude person can be a spiritual person. It can also be a person who doesn't care about spirituality, or even finds it inunderstandable.

A spiritual person can be a nude person. It can also be a person who doesn't care about nudity, or even finds it inunderstandable.

(Why 'inunderstandable' is not approved by the spell checker is inexplicable, because ununderstandable is also disapproved. Get your act together, English language.)
