On the joy of being naked

Showing the way

Road sign pointing to Old Way and New Way
Have you ever shown someone the way to naturism?

If so, how did that happen and did your guidance make it happen and work for that other person (or even persons?)

I did it a few times, and one of the people getting there got there via quite a surprising way.

As some of you may know, I'm also writing non naturist fiction under my other (real) name. One of the most popular series there is about Hilda the Wicked Witch.

Someone from the Netherlands, a kind man in his late 70s, found those books and loved them. He told me so via messages and comments, which was great. He discovered my selection of naturist fiction and he devoured the lot. This man was amazed to discover the truth about  naturism. We talked about it. A lot.

He was waiting for every new book I was publishing, both naturist and non naturist, and a few years ago he surprised me with another message. He had been naked in his home for a whole day, which was a shock for him. It changed his whole life, so he said, that single day. An instant sensation of freedom and liberation had overwhelmed him and it had made him cry. Again we talked about naturism, and this time from his view of experience.

The next year he had another surprise: he'd rented a small bungalow at one of the most well-known naturist resorts in the Netherlands, he'd been there, and he had loved the whole week.

I seriously had not expected that from him so soon, but it was endearing to hear how much he'd enjoyed it. The year after that he went there again, for two weeks, and he told me he felt so much at home there.

Unfortunately, due to health issues, he passed away the year after that. I had hoped to make it to his funeral but it was not possible.

I still think of him fondly, and how happy he was, having found naturism. Even at that stage in life.

Rest in peace, Fokke. I hope you're naked where you are now, and loving it at least as much.
