Sensitivity
I don't know about you. Heck, I don't even know most of you (ha ha).
But jokes aside. I think.
I, for me, am more and more convinced that life without clothes is making me more sensitive. To many things.
The top image of this post is me, hugging a tree. It's an amazing sensation. Feeling that rough bark against your skin. Have you ever tried it? If so, what was your impression of it?
For me it's the best to be in nature this way. Nature is honest. Rough is rough, soft is soft. Wind is cooling and rain is wet. These are things we know. Things we can experience whenever we want, also when we're encased in the fabric prisons society demands of us. It's not always easy to avoid that stuff. And that, too, is something we know. This increased sensitivity has its effect in the 'normal world', as this collection of insane experiences is called. 'Real life' gets harder and harder to cope with. Wars. Energy problems, and adding power-gobbling systems to those, pollution, genocides in many places. It's not funny, to say the least, and it's terrible if you start thinking about it.
What is this race trying to prove? That it's capable of destroying the planet? We all know this race can do that, and much faster.They... we... are crazy. How is all this mess meant to be making progress? Fewer and fewer people are getting gathering more and more money, under the guise of 'becoming richer'. Are they really rich?
Have they ever felt the wind on their skin, or the rain? Gone through a forest barefoot, to feel the earth under their feet? Unlikely.
And for me, that is what riches is. To have the feeling, sensation, awareness, wealth of nature, wherever I go.
All this doesn't stop at naturism.
I have the impression I am becoming more sensitive to people and their issues, things, problems, call it something. And I'm willing to help them, if I can. Sometimes just listening is a good thing, as long as they know they'reΒ heard.
I hope the world at large will listen to nature. The fires around Los Angeles, at the moment of writing this, the large chunks of ice breaking off everywhere, those are cries from the world. I hope we're not too late.
