Nude people come in all shapes, sizes and colours. And the beauty of it all: we love us that way!

A naturist’s view on classical art and music
Classical music and nudity?
Yes, you saw that. I like classical music. Not solely that but it’s amazing for me. And the good thing is that there are people who perform classical music in the nude. Alas, they don’t play in most theatres but if you look around there are examples to be found.
For instance there is this: an aria from “Tales of Hoffman” by Jacques Offenbach. This is definitely a complex song to sing and this lady, Abigail Wright, who is a mezzo soprano, took on this song and performed it naked. That’s having guts.

France has nude performers as well.
This should not be surprising. France has a large amount of naturist places and they’re quite popular. A performance by the Bordeaux National Opera in the nude is therefore not something you should be surprised of. They performed Les Indes galantes, an opera-ballet by Jean-Philippe Rameau. Here is a sample of it:

Not only in the western world.
Japan is known for being eccentric at times. Luckily they also cater to the naturist taste at times. For you: The Japanese Naked Orchestra, with The Nutcracker of Pyotr Iljitsch Tchaikovsky.
Do you know of other nude performers of classical music or performing arts? I know there are plenty of experimental modern performers. It’s the classical ones I am looking for. They break borders…

Just good friends. Just a good time.
A naturist’s view on pockets.
Pockets. What about them when you have none?
Pockets. We all know them and put things in them. A big question for non-naturists and new naturists is: where do I put my things? After all, a proper, modern human being isn’t complete without keys, a phone, paperwork, a wallet and what not.
There are no pockets in your skin.
Absolutely true, and that’s how I like it best. If you’re a genetically or surgically modified human who now has pockets, do step forward and tell us about your experiences.
Having no pockets has made me clever about taking things with me.
First necessity: a bag. Consider that one big pocket and you’re already set.
Second necessity: don’t take the kitchen sink with you.
Be clever about what you really need. Are you on vacation and you’re not going to drive, leave car keys and paperwork in your tent, bungalow, hotel room, wherever you stay. It makes for lighter walking. Walking in warm weather? Take something to drink with you. Don’t be stupid and risk dehydration. Do you need your wallet if you’re not going to stop anywhere? Leave it ‘at home’. Same if there’s nowhere to pay for anything; why take the thing with you?
Break the things-obsession.
This is where we get closer to nature-ism, which isn’t for everyone. Nature didn’t invent keys, wallets, phones and all that. If you can do without those, even for a few hours when out and about, do not take those things with you. Learn to live without facebook, twitter, snapchat and whatever more or less social medium you frequent for a while. You might be shocked to find how much you see of your environment when you’re not staring at your phone all the time. You might even meet people. 😉 And if you’re lucky they’re inclined to be naked, like you.
Those tweets will wait for you to come back, trust me.

Happy new year’s eve, everyone. What do you have cooking for next year?
A naturist’s view on videos
Videos? What videos?
Believe it or not but most naturists are quite sensitive about videos. And pictures. Especially when those contain imagery or footage of them in the nude. Not everyone is ready to be so exposed to the public. For those who aren’t afraid of that however, there can be a different problem. It’s something I’m facing at the moment.
I’ve uploaded a few videos onto Vimeo (because Youtube is far ‘stricter’ concerning nudity). The thing I’m fighting now is the amount of sex-crazed idiots that are set on following me on Vimeo and who keep asking for more videos. Ehm. Right. It’s considered flattering to be told “you have a great ass and I want to ram my dick in you”. At least I’m sure it is flattering in certain circles. Not mine, let me tell you that.
Measures I took.
After being ‘invited’ to join a few of my ‘fans’ to ‘hook up and have some fun’ I made most of my videos private. No one will be able to watch them any more and the only place to see them is when I put them up here, on my site. I’ve found that this reduces the amount of unwanted ‘invitations’ drastically. It’s sad I have to do this but I don’t want to be seen for what I’m not, and worse: what naturism isn’t.
It’s not an invitation for sex.
Better ways to do public videos.
I’m not sure if there is a way to put up videos in a way that won’t be considered such ‘invitations to invitations’. If anyone out there has great ideas or suggestions, I’m all ears!
For now I’ll leave you with this video of a brave and admirable lady who explains why she likes to be naked on the beach.

I hope each of you will have and find what you’re looking and wishing for!

Getting ready for some serious action!
A naturist’s view on religion
Naturism and religion.
Yes. It had to happen as it’s a topic of discussion wherever I seem to look lately. There are Christians against and in favour of naturism. Muslims in favour of and against naturism. I’m not going to delve into the pros and cons that every available religion has on naturism because that would be a waste of time. Only a few of them have no problem with it, I’m sure.
So why can’t you be naked and religious?
First off: I am not religious. I’m spiritual, which is something else.
I’d be in their league if I had to choose something. Luckily I don’t have to. On to some of the things I don’t get about nudity and religion.
Christianity
Although the world’s standards may permit or even encourage nudity, the Bible has a different perspective. It is true that the first humans were created unclothed by God (Genesis 2:25). Adam and Eve were innocent in their nakedness, but after the fall everything changed.
So basically nudity was fine. Their god, and that of many others, created the people in his image. Initially they were nude. Gives reason to think.
Of course this is all metaphorical (except for those who take the bible literally) but still there is strife between pro and con nudity Christians.
Islam
The intimate parts of the human body must, according to Islam, be covered by clothing. Exposing the intimate parts of the body is unlawful in Islam as the Quran instructs the covering of genitals, and for adult females the breasts. Exposing them is regarded as sin. Precisely which body parts must be covered varies between different schools of Islamic thought.
This is a bit problematic when several schools in one religion don’t agree on what’s what.
In general
I think everyone should be free to decide whether or not to dress. Regardless of religion. However I also think everyone should not interfere with people who think differently. If you want to wear long, black clothes in the heat of summer, by all means, but don’t push your opinion of “how it has to be” on others. Your religion, your beliefs, your way. Not others, not mine. I know Christians who are against nudity. I know Christians who are fine with it. Bottom line: be happy being a Christian and don’t bug each other.
Same thing in Islam. There are lots of nudists in countries like e.g. Egypt. They’re forbidden to be naked outside. They meet up in the dark, in apartments, so they can spend some nude time together. Why can’t other Muslims just let them be?
Honestly folks, if nudity is such a big deal in the eyes of your gods, then your gods should prove their allmightiness by changing peoples minds. Not letting you, the people, fight this out.
Note that this is not every naturist’s view. It’s mine. Just so you know. I’m also not digging deeper in other religions. Feel free to do so if you want to know more.
