Nature

Me on a nude beach during a walk
For me, nature is not a strange thing to write about when thinking about naturism, for me. After all, most of that word 'nature' is also in the word 'naturism'.

It's sad that so many naturists may not have the opportunity to be out in nature in their most natural state. It's such a special experience.

Being outside, clothesfree, among all other natural things, gives me a special feeling. A good one. One of belonging. Feeling the air, smelling the scents (apart from cow droppings, I'll agree to that. This is a major design flaw).

When there is no one around, just me and nature, I feel different. I feel most like a part of nature that way.

Going out in the nude in a small and crowded country like the Netherlands can present a challenge. I am lucky to live close to Germany though. Not far from here there is a "Reichswald", a large forest with lots of space, and it's wonderful to roam there.
A rest at a gate during a walk in the UK

I also like to think back to the UK, where I did very long walks through the countryside, without anyone noticing me. Or the long, long walks on Lanzarote, following the coastline for up to 8 kilometres (about 5.5 miles or so) without seeing anyone. Total bliss, something like that.

I wish everyone could experience that...
