On the joy of being naked
Nudity is permitted beyond this point.

Home naturist

I'm a home naturist. Did you know? Suspect? If so, why? (Seriously, I'm curious.)

Why am I like that? Plenty of reasons, and some have developed over the years.

Group of nudists
Social nudity: I'm not a very social person in real life. Large groups of people don't attract me, and these days, 'large' starts at 4 to 5 people. I'm very much an introvert.

If there are too many people, I just want to run away.

Allergies: once the nice weather starts, I'm mostly staying inside. Hay fever is my 'friend' from the end of March until somewhere in July, sometimes August. Going outside to meet that 'friend' is very much not something I look forward to!

Lupus. My personal least favourite.

Not many people know this actually exists. It's not a pleasure. For me the worst one is the bottom left: sun exposure rash. It doesn't just itch. It can hurt.

Sunlight triggers a few other problems when I'm out in the sun for too long. The nasty bit here is that 'too long' is not a fixed period of time. It all depends on how I feel for the rest. Feel good? I can be in the sunshine for half an hour without serious effects. Feel bad? 10 minutes is already past red alert.

And now I wonder if there are more people kind of like me. I understand that many people will only be home naturists because they don't have any option to go out for some naturisting, nudisting and socialising, and I feel sorry for those folks too but they don't need to answer my question.
