Any place warm

I'm ready for it. It's been cold here, we had snow and ice, and more of such fun things.

This was the actual situation a while ago. Canadians and other ice-dwellers will probably wonder why I mention this but this is pretty much snow for us these past years. Climate change is a thing, seriously.

I was out on the bicycle just now and it feels like -5C. In Americana Fahrenheit that's 23F. There was a stiff easterly breeze which made it feel a tad colder too.

I am ready for any place warm. Not too far away, I don't want to spend 48 hours in a plane to get somewhere, and so I have decided to consider Vera Playa. I've heard

various good things about that location and several people online have recommended it, which is a good thing.

I've not been on a vacation for 6 years now, and believe me: looking at all those vacation things is... weird after all that time. I think the south of Spain is far enough to get used to this again.

Do you know how much planning that takes? Finding a place to stay, finding the time to take off from work, finding travel options to get there?

And did you notice I didn't write 'a flight'?

That's probably going to happen but I'm weird and I consider myself an "ethical naturist" as Stéphane Dechène from Bare Oaks likes to say. If I can prevent using an aeroplane I will do that. And I'll never do a cruise because those boats are so amazingly polluting that it's not funny any more. I'm not going to be a part of that.

So it's probably going to be Vera Playa, although nothing is decided yet. There are lots of other options yet to peruse, and peruse I shall. There's also still the idea of visiting Greece (most of my colleagues live and work in Athens, they'd love to see me 'for real' once, poor sods). I'm not sure yet what the naturist options are around Athens and surrounding areas but there is still plenty of time.
