It would also be nice, but I would be too afraid to throw myself from that high. I parachuted many years ago, but it still takes a certain amount of unconsciousness and keeping the fear in check.
And it was terrible even with the parachute, at 4,500 meters. when you open the hatch you look down and see the clouds, that was the worst moment. I was about to give up. Then I kept my mouth shut and let the teacher I was attached to do it. The temptation to give up was strong, but I’m glad I did. An adrenaline rush so strong and never felt in my life and never felt again. One of those experiences to do at least once in a lifetime. I still remember the slight difficulty in breathing as we were about to launch, I felt like I was gasping like a fish out of water. At 4,500 mt. oxygen is more rarefied. Anyway was one of the most amazing thing in my life.
Looking back now, parachuting feels like having the courage to try nudism. I was persuaded to try by another nudist but also to try nudism it takes a lot of courage. I don’t know if you grew up in nudist environments, but for those who come from “textile” environments like me, I assure you that it takes a lot of courage and knowing how to silence fear, shame and body-related stigmas. Seeing yourself completely naked, for no specific reason, feeling the desire to repeat the experience without knowing why, etc. etc. these are all things that scare the first time and leave you with a lot of questions.
Meee!
you either love this or hate this there is no in between!
I am not in the loving section.

I agree. With a parachute you have the idea that there’s a safety (I did it a few times).
When you jump from a cliff, that’s where your safety ends!
